Hand, sitting, perspective of horror (Heresy, anonymous Ishmundi)

I hold Megan entirely responsible for the tidal wave of shite that's about the begin. She very kindly gave me a very nice sketch pad, mechanical pencil, rubber, a fineliner and a brush pen when I was on my tod in hospital, and doom occurred. Posting these in the order they were drawn in. This first one is a hybrid though, as I modified the face today because it was all wrong. It's probably still all wrong. Tell me what's wrong!

Well, the perspective on the hand is wrong, I know that. What I don't know is what possessed me to even try combining the twin horrors of hands and an awkward perspective. Also, God I hate this scanner. It looks almost like biro from the scan, but it's actually pencil.

Heresy Smith has spent at least as much time in the dock as she has on the bench...

The perspective actually works. You have tried something *horrifically* hard. The feel is right. The perspective on the hand is a little off but the overall composition works.

Breasts don't work like that. There is a slight concavity at the top and the the convexity underneath, and that bodice whould skim them more. You are getting to grips with faces and they work, the only thing is the noses are slightly too low and the ear is a tad high. The top of the ear should be level with the corner of the eye.

The collar works well as does the hair and the neck. The elbows are off, I hate drawign the things as they are a pain, but the forearm should be broader, there's a lot of muscle there. Trust me. I've poked around in there. You've got the flick of the sleeve well, it has motion, that is good :)
